Mazda Motor Corporation is participating in JAPAN MOBILITY SHOW BIZWEEK 2026, held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture from 13 to 16 October.
At its booth, One of Mazda's exhibits focuses on empathetic AI developed with thymia, introducing research and technologies aimed at building better relationships between people and cars. By combining thymia's voice biomarker intelligence technology with Mazda's research into human characteristics and its vehicle data, Mazda aims to deliver new mobility experiences that are attentive to people.
thymia is the voice biomarker intelligence company. Our technology objectively detects signs of mental and physical states such as stress and fatigue from as little as 15 seconds of speech. In Mazda's prototype, thymia’s voice analysis technology is being explored as one way of recognizing indications of changes in a person's state through natural conversation. The same technology can be installed in a wide range of devices beyond the car. We are proud to be working with Mazda on this research, and we look forward to continuing our research collaboration with Mazda.
