Over 1 billion people are affected by poor mental health globally, but more than 75% of them will never receive the help they need.
As waiting times soar, specialist clinician numbers are shrinking; on average it now takes over 10 years to find the right treatment for depression, with GPs correctly diagnosing it in fewer than 50% of cases.
Our mission is to make mental health as objectively measurable and monitorable as physical health.
In the same way that a blood pressure cuff or thermometer tracks your physical health from poor to great, thymia does the same for your mental health.
What do we do?
Our ethical A.I. models analyse voice, movement and behaviour to provide clinical grade insights into mental health and wellbeing.
At the pre-clinical level we work with providers of mental wellbeing to measure indicators of burnout and other pre-clinical indicators of mental health.
At the clinical level we are developing a tool to support clinicians in triaging, diagnosing and more effectively treating mental illness.
As seen in…
“thymia’s mental health application is truly transformative. By providing a comprehensive evaluation and monitoring tool, thymia is revolutionising the way mental health is approached and treated. It’s a privilege to be part of a project that is making such a positive impact on people’s lives.”
Thymia can be plugged into any user journey, from pre-clinical to clinical, and can work across languages.
With just 20 seconds of speech, we can calculate a user's level of mental strain including specific scores for exhaustion, sleep propensity, stress, distress, and self-esteem.
Thymia is building a clinician support tool which is currently being trialled as an investigative device with clinical partners.
